Since 1983 Mithril Racing has become one of the leaders in corporate entertainment. We are based at Goodwood Motor Circuit, just outside Chichester at the foot of the South Downs in West Sussex.
Twenty six years ago there were no companies offering driving events for Corporate Entertainment, only racing schools where the emphasis was more on training than enjoyment.
Goodwood was a very different place in those days. The pits consisted of one corrugated iron shed and the circuit had been largely ignored since it closed for competitive racing in 1966. The track was lined with nettle filled car tyres placed in front of the original concrete barrier. Facilities were basic to say the least.

Mithril grew through the eighties and early nineties, and eventually motorsports enthusiast Lord March managed to get the circuit reopened for Historic racing. The first Revival Meeting was held in September 1998, after £3.5m had been spent on the circuit and new facilities. Have a look in the Equipment Gallery for images of the Circuit as it is today, and we are sure you’ll agree that it is the premier location for Corporate Driving events, and a truly pleasant place to be!
Come and enjoy the famous 2.4 mile Goodwood Motor Circuit in all its restored splendour and that’s only part of it. Take the racing line just as Moss, Hawthorn and Fangio did. Take to the air in a vintage Tiger Moth or lift off in a helicopter, slide round the skidpan or prove yourself in a kart race. We’ll give you all the excitement you and your guests can handle, with just the right amount of control!
